About the academy

Putting decides more rounds than anything else.

YHC Putting Academy exists for one reason: putting decides more rounds than any other part of golf, and almost nobody practises it properly.

Most golfers spend their range time on full swing, then walk onto the green and guess. The result is predictable — three-putts that undo good approach play, and a slow erosion of confidence over eighteen holes.

The academy was built around the opposite idea. Every session starts with measurement, so what changes is what actually needs to change, and you can see the difference rather than take it on faith.

How we coach

  • 01

    Measure first

No change is made on a hunch. Face angle, path and balance are captured before anything is altered, so progress is visible rather than claimed.

  • 02

    One thing at a time

A stroke rebuilt in a single session falls apart by the weekend. Sessions target one change, with drills to embed it before the next.

  • 03

    Built for pressure

A stroke that only works on a quiet practice green is not much use on the eighteenth. Routine and pressure training are part of the coaching, not an afterthought.
